Scott Cocca played basketball at the University of Dallas from 1993-94 to 1996-97. In that time he set 9 school records, seven that still stand. He holds records for assists in a game, 17 set against Southwestern Adventist, assists in a season, 229, in 1994-95, assists per game, 9.1, in 1994-95, points per game, 20.8, in 1995-96, steals per game, 2.5, in 1994-95, 3 point field goals in a career, 226, assists in a career, 635, assists per game for a career, 6.4 and steals 224. In addition he was a member of the first men's basketball team with a winning record in 1994-95, 14-11. In 1995-96 he was selected as an NAIA All American Honorable Mention.
