Bio

Stephanie Moorberg was named the University of Dallas men’s and women’s golf head coach on February 5, 2024.

This will be Moorberg’s first coaching gig at the collegiate level, and she brings with her a wealth of golf experience.  Most recently, she has been the First Assistant Golf Professional at Hackberry Creek Country Club here in Irving for the last two years, organizing tournaments, aiding junior clinics as well as teaching private lessons.

Perhaps her most notable accomplishment is that she is an active professional player, having achieved tour status on the Epson Tour and has been part of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America’s PGM 3.1 program since March 2023.  Moorberg has been a professional since 2017 and currently plays on the Women’s All-Pro Tour (WAPT) as well as playing sectional events in the North Texas PGA.

Moorberg has also participated in a number of volunteered in the golf community in a variety of ways over the last decade, including Sip-n-Chip and Junior Clinics with the WAPT, instructing with the SNAG Golf Program at Heritage Elementary, as well as assisting with the Fort Worth City Junior Golf Championships.

She currently resides in Keller, Texas.
