Bio

Pauly Ulrich was named Sports Information Director for the University of Dallas on September 7, 2021.

In his first season with the Crusaders, Ulrich oversaw the transition from College TV Ticket to PrestoSports for the streaming of all live sporting events.  He has also reviatlized the departments social media presence, greater emphasizing and refining multimedia production.

Prior to UD, Ulrich spent four years at the University of Saint Katherine in San Marcos, California.  He was named the Firebirds first ever Sports Information Director in February 2017, and was tasked with building the department from scratch.  Over the next four years USK shifted from the National Christian College Athletic Assocation (NCCAA) to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), and so to did the standards for the sports information department shift with Ulrich at the helm.

A bolstered social media presence was then, as it is now with UD, the hallmark of Ulrich's time with USK.  On top of setting the standards for sports writing, editing, record keeping, and social media marketing, Ulrich left one more stamp prior to his departure from USK, with the advent of the first ever podcast for the university.

Ulrich was a four-year student-athlete, playing two years for the San Diego Mesa College Olympians men's soccer team before transferring to USK, playing his final two years of soccer and one season of collegiate baseball.  He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiolgy from the University of Saint Katherine in December 2016, and a Master's of Science in Exercise Science from Point Loma Nazarene University in August 2019.

He resides in Irving, Texas with his wife, Emily.
