Bio

Nate Ramsey completed his first year as the assistant baseball coach for the University of Dallas baseball team. Ramsey’s primarily served as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator, but will also assist in all aspects of the program.

Ramsey had 17 pitchers appear on the mound in 2021, with eight making at least 10 appearances. The staff struck out 162 and walked 139. Ethan Mann and Ryan Flores earned Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Pitcher of the Week on consecutive weeks to end the regular season. The duo joined Conrad Voss on being named to SCAC All-Conference Teams.

Ramsey arrived at UD after working with NCAA Division I Wofford College as the director of baseball operations. Prior to that Ramsey was an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Savannah State University, which is NCAA Division II. From August 2015 to September 2017, Ramsey was the head coach at NCAA Division III Wilkes University.

Ramsey is a native of Greenville, South Carolina, who received his bachelor's degree at Bluefield State College, and obtained his Master's Degree in Coaching Education from Ohio University in August, 2015.

Ramsey is married to Hannah Ramsey (Formerly Warren).
