Bio

Irfana Ahmed joined the University of Dallas women's lacrosse coaching staff as a graduate assistant in 2020-21 and completed her first season helping Head Coach Kaitlin Cochran and the team compete in eight matches.

She will be studying to get her MBA with a concentration in leadership. 

Ahmed graduated from the University of Montevallo where she was part of its women's lacrosse program. She started four years at goalkeeper for the Falcons and led the Gulf South Conference with an average of 10.20 saves-per-game. Other feats for the goalie included: surpassing 500 career saves, recorded over 3,000 minutes in goal, and holds the record for most saves during a career for the Gulf South Conference at 621. Ahmed was a two-time Gulf South Conference All-Conference Goalie (2017, 2019).

Academically, she was sound earning a place on the Gulf South Conference Academic Honor Roll three seasons and was named twice to the Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll.
